Beautifully and intricately detailed, this Black Water Siren Studio exclusive depicts an accurate representation of the LaSirene voodoo veve. The veve is hand carved, then cast in solid sterling silver, then a ring band securely soldered on in your requested size. oxidized to bring out the detail, and polished to a high shine.

Veve itself is about 7/8″ wide by 1-1/16″ tall

LaSirene, wife of Agwe Tawayo, the supreme lwa of the ocean. LaSirene is feminine, enchanting, sensual. She moves with unerring grace through the water domains of her husband. She carries her trumpet, which she uses to call the faithful to service, seducing us with her siren song, taking our heads as it were, under the sea, to gain consciousness of the intuitive world. As the wife of Met Agwe, she rules over the vast kingdom of the oceans with him. According to Haitian culture, whoever finds her comb will become the master of immense wealth. 

A powerful feminine deity, sought after for different reasons such as improving one’s magical endeavors, earning riches or great fortune, and finding creative inspiration for music, arts and performances. She possesses lunar qualities of enhancing dream work and intuition. LaSirene can symbolize the power of attraction, and how it can inspire us to be self-driven and determined, though it must be somewhat tamed so that it does not overcome us.

This is the dark, intuitive sister who swims below LaSirene’s cool blue domain. LaBalenn is dark only in that she is the deep, deep depths of the world’s oceans – she is our Shadow side, our inner intuition that we so seldom listen to.
