These are somewhat large poppy flower pods that I harvested last fall. The poppies grow like crazy in my yard. I have painted them and embellished them with faceted crystal rondelles, fire-polished iridescent glass beads, and antiqued brass beads. This pair reminds me of pomegranates. They make a fun conversation piece and will be the most unusual earrings in any crowd. They are very lightweight. Antiqued brass leverback ear wires.
